We are only a week away from Halloween – how fast thats come around!! So in the run up, I’m going to post all things Halloween related including costume ideas and more.
I thought I’d start with one of my favourite Halloween traditions ; carving your pumpkin. For the last couple of years I have been at university, so carving pumpkins hasn’t been my priority (its usually covering my face in fake blood and preparing for a wild night), but this year being back home has made me want to be a little more creative with my pumpkin carving.
My mum has never been creative with the carving, so it was always the typical smile look, but this year I plan to be a little more creative. Here’s some of what I’ve been looking at for inspo.
Although I love carving pumpkins, despite the messy buisness. Latetly there have been many opting out of the craving and decorating their pumpkins other ways. Check out some of these gorgeous alternative ways to decorate your pumpkins this Halloween!
I don’t know about you, but I’m spoilt for choice this year as to what to do with my pumpkin. I think I’m going to have to have a couple more this year to accomodate the couple of styles I want to recreate, maybe make a little Halloween arrangement.
What do you think? Are you a carver or will you decorate this year? What designs do you like? I’d love to know, so comment below.
Hope you are all excited for Halloween, I certainly am!
