This, like everything these days, came around so bloody quickly!! Having booked it in July, It felt like it would never actually come around. But my gosh it did, and well it was as magical as I had imagined it would be!
I would like to say, this was not the first time for me to the Harry Potter studios. However, having previously visited in the height of summer, I knew I’d want to go back in the most magical season possible. Since me and my boyfriend are such Potter fans, it was inevitable to go this year and get ourselves buzzing for the upcoming festivities.
It truly was the most magical experience, and the best way to get into the real Christmas spirit. Being the start of my first Christmas with my boyfriend, I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The Christmas trees were decorated in true Hogwarts form, the glittering fireplaces were lit and snow lined the buildings making the whole tour that extra bit special. With the new Hogwarts express I was so excited to get onboard and explore the infamous carriages.
The outside backlot also featured falling snow, which made knocking on Harry’s door that little bit more Christmassy!
Hogwarts in the snow was just so spectacular and fulfilled all my nerdy needs, and as always resulted in watching the first instalment of the franchise that night.
Have you ever been to Harry Potter studios? What did you do to get you in the christmas mood? Let me know and comment below.
