You’ve got to pamper yourself once in a while, and whats better than doing it in the comfort of your own home.
Since my fiance got a season ticket to our local football club, there has been ample opportunity over the last couple of months to get pro at it, so here are my tips for the ideal at home pamper.
There is nothing better than a scruffy pair of trackies, a baggy shirt and fluffy socks. Snuzzling into a blanket is no fun in restricting clothes like jeans or tight clothing.
A good movie or box set
Desperate housewives? Gossip Girl? Bridget Jones Diary? You need something that’s not only going to make you laugh but cry too. It’s no girlie / pamper night without a good chic flic to make you sob and giggle.
Ben & Jerrys
Either Cookie Dough or Peanut Butter Cup. Take your pick. And a big spoon, but forget the bowl, you won’t be sharing.
It’s not a pamper night without a good thick facemask and cucumber eye mask. Lather it on, sit back and relax. Your skin will feel soo much better for it, and so will you.
A good ‘ol bubble bath
Plenty of bubbles is a must. Relax with a good book and a couple of candles pre or after film to really utilise your pamper night in.
You can never have too many pamper nights. I like to make sure I create time for myself once a month, to really un-wind and relieve day to day stresses.
