We are all in the same boat, especially if we are wanting to lose some weight and tone before a big holiday, or the summer in general.

I myself am desperate to look and feel as good as possible for both my wedding and honeymoon. I am sooo lazy when it comes to dieting, and whilst Christmas maybe long gone, there is still Easter and all it’s chocolate to enjoy.

Thankfully though, a couple of weeks ago I was very kindly sent some Fruiteatox to try. I have heard lots of mixed reviews on products very similar to this, so I was both excited and nervous to give it a try myself. Like I’ve mentioned, I am terrible with diets, and like to exercise as well as treat myself with to the odd bag of mini eggs. So a product that can aid in weight lose some weight whilst doing some workouts seemed like the perfect product for me.

What’s better, these products promised to cleanse my body of toxins, which is something I am desperate for.

So here’s what happened when I took their 14 Day Teatox .

What do you get?

In your 14 Day Teatox pouch, you receive 14 Lemon Daytox Tea pyramid teabags. These are to be drunk every morning for 2 weeks. Your pouch of Orange Sleeptox Tea contains 7 pyramid teabags that are to be used every other night before bed for 2 weeks.

If like me, you are a little consious of everything you eat and drink, there’s good news. All Fruiteatox ingredients are completely natural and uses real fruit, which is bloody amazing! They smell pretty funky in the pouch and look a little inconspicuous, but once you boil that kettle and start sipping, you get used to acquired taste. Honestly, some of those stupid protein shakes taste much, much worse!

How did I feel?

I would say not a lot different but the more I think of it, it made huge differences in how I felt. Mentally more so than physically, but lemme digest.

After a couple of days, I certainly felt a lot less bloated even after having breakfast. After the first 5 days, I felt more energy in the morning, and with small changes like bloating making me feel more confident, I was much more determined to stick to my work out routine.

My skin looked and felt more cared for after the full 14 days, and surely enough, I was getting fuller quicker, which is amazing for me! At night I was sleeping more easily and waking up feeling refreshed and well rested.

I found myself eating less at mealtimes, getting less bloated and noticed a huge change in the look and feel of my skin. I didn’t shed a tone of fat, nor grow some abs in 14 days, but is that what I really expected??

The Verdict

Overall I am pretty impressed with the product. I can firmly conclude I neither shat my pants because of the ‘laxatives’ nor did I endure any dodgy cramps. I felt really confident in myself, and more motivated to keep up better eating and workouts. Whilst I didn’t shed pounds, I’m really happy I didn’t. I feel like it could be something to incorporate into my diet and healthy eating plans.

Its a product that is neither too intrusive, but rather reassuring that there is something that is helping you from within. My skin felt fantastic, and my bloating almost gone. My confidence has surely been boosted, and my sleeping pattern has been changed to a nice stable one.

I would highly recommend this product above other teatox’s. I will surely be using this again, especially on the run up to the wedding, and whilst I am desperately trying to loose some of the flab.

Have you ever tried fruiteatox?

Would you consider it?

  2. I’m always wary of these detox teas but it sounds like it worked well for you! I drink dandelion tea to help clean my liver and I felt much the same way, better skin and healthier. Congrats on your upcoming wedding, I think as long as you feel happy and confident, that’s all that matters! xx
