Take care of your diet

One of the biggest reasons that women and men feel self conscious is because their skin isn’t in tip top condition. Failing that, it comes down to weight. The first place to look when wanting to change your skin’s condition or your weight is your diet.

Eating well and drinking plenty of water can help make your skin glow, whilst helping you from gaining any extra unwanted weight. It won’t take long for you will feel more confident in your own skin.

Have treatments done

A fantastic way of pampering yourself is by letting someone else do the work for you. Consider going to get a massage, a facial, your nails done, or even visit a botox clinic to see if there’s any way that they could help you feel more confident in yourself.

Whilst nobody should ever feel like they have to change the way they look to feel more beautiful, it’s shouldn’t be completely written off for those who really aren’t happy and want some improvements made.

Change up your make up

If you’ve been wearing the same kind of make up for years, it’s likely that you won’t feel very special or out of the ordinary when wearing it. Consider experimenting with new and different make up styles. You’ll be surprised in the lift of confidence some new products or style can have!

If you’re unsure on make up, it might be a good idea to visit a beauty therapist who can give you some great tips on how to apply make up to compliment your facial features and shape.

Take care of your hair

Finally, your hair is a part of your body in which you do have full control over. No matter what type of hair that you have, it’s always possible to change it up to how you like it.

This does mean taking good care of your hair though, so make sure that you’re not washing it too often (this can lead to dried out and brittle hair) and conditioning your hair effectively.

I realised I was stuck in a bit of a makeup rut – even when it came to buying new things, I always reached for the same colours. But since I’ve tried to switch it up a little, I’ve been having so much more fun! So I totally agree. 🙂 xx
