The Dress/ Suits

When you walk into the church or venue on your wedding day you want to feel like the most beautiful person in the room. A lot of this is down to your natural beauty and your hair, however a huge focal point for the day is your dress. When you go wedding shopping, make sure that you don’t leave with an item until it is the perfect one for you. You deserve to feel like a princess on your wedding day, and with the right outfit, you will.

The Rings

As a couple, there will be one element of the wedding preparation which is more personal and more exciting than the rest, and that is picking out the right rings for you both on the big day. Your wedding ring is a symbol of your love and something you’ll be wearing for the rest of your life, so make sure you pick the right one! You can look on line at or visit stores together to find the perfect rings for your celebrations.

Something which you will want to get ready for decoration on your wedding day is the flowers. This can include your bouquet, table decorations, and even flowers to scatter around the venue on the day. You can choose a few different colours for your wedding but make sure you stick to a general colour scheme.

A Car

How are you going to get yourself and your bridal party to the venue? How will everyone be travelling to the reception? You need to take time in advance to work out exactly what you are going to do in terms of transport in the day and whether or not it would be easier for everyone to stay over the night before the wedding.

Wedding favours can be anything from a box of chocolates to a few seeds to plant in the garden. They are a token of thanks to the people who came to celebrate your wedding with you and should be personal to both you and them. Pick your favours carefully and leave them on the tables during the wedding breakfast.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… have you got everything on this list yet? Although a silly tradition to some, it can be a wonderful little good luck omen for your wedding day and it is a way of making the day even more special. If you need something new, why not make it blue and kill two birds with one stone!
